PLACES I'VE LIVED IN

Sweden, Hässleholm - 1994-1997,  2010-2013. This is the city were I lived my first two years after being born. I also lived here for 3 years during Hich School, with my cousins. They were very kind to let me live there and I'm grateful to them. Had a blast there.

Peru, Arequipa & Chiclayo - 1997-2000, 2003-2006. Don't quite remember when I lived where, but it sure is something I'm grateful that I experienced. A part of my love for traveling comes from moving back and forth when I was younger.

Sweden, Örkelljunga - 2000-2003.  Lived here in between my two times in Peru.

Svweden, Markaryd - 2007-2010. After moving back back to Sweden, after our 2nd time in Peru, we moved to Markaryd. My parents have now lived there for almost 10 years. I lived there for 3 years. And then I've lived there little bit here and there for the last 5 years.

USA, Baltimore - 2013-2014. Moved here after graduating High School and stayed for a year. Made some really good friends over there, and I miss them all.

Scotland, Selkirk - 2015. I took my first steps in Scotland and I love it here!

MY CURRENT JOB PHASE

I've been here over 4 months now. I can't believe it. I just came. It literally feels like I arrived a month ago. It's so weird when the time decides to go faster than you. Somehow it always manage to surprise me when it does. I should get used to it soon. Right? 

Another thing that is hard for me to grasp is that if I wouldn't have stayed longer I would head home in two months!! It feels sooo weird thinking that since I just recently got into a my next job-mood-phase. Let me explain. I have different job phases I go through. So recently I hit the phase of "everything-is-the-same-week-in-and-out-and-I-know-the-routines-by-heart-so-I'm-a-bit-bored".
It will go over soon, so I'm not worried. But it will be nice to have a long weekend off in Sweden in a few weeks. My mind and body needs a bit of a longer trip to calm down a bit. It wants to go out on a new adventure. Haha. The feeling off being on your way is excellerating!

It's almost done. Need to sew on the Norwegian and Danish flag and then it's finished (for now).  

And here is my masterpiece! It's just a bunch of funny quotes and sayings from friends, me and movies. You won't probably get half of them, haha. And no, it's not blueish as it looks on the pictures.

WHATEVER'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW

I've not really written anything in a while. I'm sorry about that, so here we go. 

A few things has happened since I last actually wrote something. There's some good things and some bad things. Sadly the bad things tend to take overhand right now. But I'll give it some time and then I'll be on top again. 

Here's a few of "all the bad things" happening lately.
If you haven't heard it we, sadly, got kicked out yesterday of the World Championship by Russia.  I have so mixed feelings about the whole thing. What I'm most upset about is that we didn't even make it till the semi-finals. But I'm also really crossed with the judge from the game yesterday. He was on our back the whole first period for insignificant things that, so far in the Championship, should not be so big things. If he would be in the same room I would have punched him.

Another thing is that two family memebers have been in the hospital this week. So that feels great..

And then my hockey jersey came today and of course it's WAY to big and when I went to the website to find out how to return it for a smaller size I found out that I'm not able to return it becuase I had put a print on the back! Aaaah! So stupid! The bright side is that it will still fit me if I ever get pregnant.. 

Let's leave the bad news and go to the brighter ones! 

I had a lovely chat with Anni earlier tonight. Was a while ago since we skyped so that was nice. Always a blast talking to her. 

I recieved all flag patches I ordered. Only two flags to left to put on my duffel bag and then I'm all done. I can't wait to go down to England, Ireland and Finland so I can put them on as well! 

I also recieved my tote bag! It's just (was) a plain one. Nothing on it until I worked my magic with a permanent marker so now it has a lot of sayings/quotes by me/friends/ favorite movies. I'll take pictures of it and show it to you. Because it turned out really great and I can't wait to use it! Haha. Hopefully I'll have a chance tomorrow! 

AND today I went in to Galashiels with Anna and the kids. When we were in Tesco I saw Carrie Hope Fletcher's book All I Know Now that I've been wanting to buy since it came out. But I haven't done it since I've told myself I have to read all of my unread books waiting for me first. But then since this week has not really gone my way I decided I needed something to cheer my up and I went for it. Anna was so very, very kind and bought the book for me! They're so great to me! So it's now in my possession and I've started to read it a bit and already laughed. So quite excited to read the rest! 

And finally some other news, that might not happend, but hey I think it's worth sharing. Remember this is big ifs(!!!) so it might not happen! 

I've found an education that I might be intrested in. It's in Gothenburgh and it's called International Language Programme/Internationella Språkprogrammet. It will allow me to study language (tada..) and I can still travel (study abroad) at least one time during those three years. How amazing is that?! So if I'm still intrested in a few months I will apply next year and hope I get in for the fall term in 2016. 

So that brings me to, what should I do with my self in the spring of 2016? My brain straight took me to Italy and learn italian. Always wanted to learn italian. And I've found something that sounds to good to be true and I'm still waiting for a catch to show up. But if I'm still intrested in Italy, in a few months as well, I'll apply and cross my fingers that they accept me. 

Remember BIG IFS! It all depends on where my brain wants to take me.

It was summer weather during easter! So I spend a lot of time outside drinking tea and reading.

Taken this week. Everything is about to burst into GREEN GREEN and more GREEN! Just give us some more sunshine and it will change over a night! 

IIHF: SWEDEN VS LATVIA

ANOTHER WIN FOR SWEDEN! 

We're doing pretty good, but made some errors in yesterdays game. If we want to have a chance on wensday against Canada we can't afford any mistakes and we need to become more a unison. But I have faith in us! I think it says something about us managing to make 8 goals even though we didn't play our best. Final score: SWE 8 - LAT 1. Felt good!

Btw, we have another hat trick guy in our team now, Loui Ericsson.

IIHF: AUSTRIA VS SWEDEN

AND ANOTHER WIN FOR SWEDEN! 

We totally owned the game! After the first 15 minutes we were in controll of the game for the rest of the time. I mean, it was so fun to watch. I laughed through most of it, to be honest. And #9 Forsberg made a hat trick! I'm so stunned and amazed 'cause he's as old as I am! How is that even possible at this age?! 

What I like about the the hockey in Sweden is that we have great old players and great young players coming in. We just switch out a great player for another great player. And this year we have a lot of young players on the ice. And I have to say they're coping with coming from the junior team to the senior team really well. We have a lot of team spirit this year! 

The only thing I've been missing these two games and I'll miss during a few games this week, is my Tre Kronor Jersey! I'm so excitied to wear it for a game! 

IIHF: SWEDEN VS CZECH REPUBLIC

WE WOOOON!!! YAY!! 

Allthough we did lose the lead for a while but then we won it back. What an exciting and nerv wrecking game it was! I'm still shaking after being tense for so long. When the bell rang after the last period it was 5-5 so we went into OT (over time) but still no one made a goal (we did have a few shoots though) so then it was time for shoot outs and then FINALLY we won. So it ended with 6-5 to Tre Kronor. Wow, what a game.
